The community development team are committed to supporting the local community of Hackney. We work closely with local residents who want to improve their skills and get back to work. Our aim is to promote adult learning through local events, and developing key partnerships.

We offer adults a range of services including

• Information Advice & guidance (IAG) focussing on education, FE & Employment
• Tailored Employability Workshops
• Ex Offender Support Service
• Ongoing support to local providers and establishing new ones
• Supporting development on council estates through IAG & Learning Provision
• The Personal Best volunteer programme
• Adult Learners Week in Hackney
• Promotion of borough wide campaigns such as Get Hackney Reading
