| Help for adults in Hackney wanting to explore their learning, training and employment options.
This service provides up to date information on courses and training programmes, free advice on suitable training opportunities as well as support for individuals seeking employment.
Our qualified and experienced Information Advice and Guidance advisors are developing this outreach service in Hackney, informing residents of the choices that are open to them, helping
people to move forward and take up opportunities. We work with other agencies and refer on where extra support is needed on an individual basis.
Through our adult provision we provide confidential 1-1 sessions to learners and aim to deliver these sessions in a community setting. We can also work with clients in groups, providing specific information on topics that they have expressed an interest in.
We work in partnership with community organisations in order to reach learners in different parts of Hackney and currently offer this service at the following venues:
- Thomas Fairchild School
- Ann Taylor Children’s Centre
- Tyssen Children’s Centre
- Brooke Primary School
- Lifeline
