Family Learning Festival

Starting New Adventures Together
15 to 30 October 2011

The Family Learning Festival this year runs from 15 to 30 October 2011. It is a fantastic opportunity for families to come together and take part in free, fun and informal learning activities in accessible locations all over Hackney.

The theme for this year’s festival is ‘Starting New Adventures Together’, so why not rise to the challenge and try something new with your family? Creative activities include music workshops, family arts/crafts, ICT workshops and jewellery making. You can even start to learn a language with our Spanish taster sessions, get tips about healthy food in our hula hoop workshops or just brush up on your basic maths skills. There really is something for everyone!

Download your guide to workshops here.

The festival programme has been co-ordinated by the Family Learning Team at The Learning Trust, Hackney Children Centres and Hackney Libraries in association with local heritage centres and community organisations.
