The IAG Service was set up in an effort to promote Equal Opportunities in, and access to learning opportunities for adults who traditionally, have not benefited fully, for one reason or another, from the education and training systems and would wish to return to some form of learning.

The Service seeks to promote access for peoples with all types of disabilities, black and ethnic minority groups, women, the unemployed, low-waged and unwaged and people with learning difficulties.

The Service maintains links with Community, Adult, Further and Higher Education institutions as well as other providers of learning opportunities in order to promote easy referrals.
