On Monday 19th October 2009, The Learning Trust launched its new Family Information Service campaign Just Ask.
The ‘Justask FIS’ campaign replaces the Children’s Information Service and was officially launched at The Family Learning Festival Fun Day on 17th October 2009. The FIS will provide information on an increased range of services available for families with children from 0 to 19 living in the borough, including childcare, leisure and education.
The communications team worked on a complete rebranding strategy to a build new strong identity for the FIS team and organisation. The aim was to create a brand that could be visually linked to the Learning Trust but could also stand alone, aside from educational queries and advice. Our main objective was to promote the FIS brand as a directory service for a variety of needs for families in Hackney, so a website was also set up to support the launch campaign. www.justaskfis.co.uk not only pointing people in the right direction for free internet access, swimming lessons and college places, but in these difficult economic times, it also highlights the many services that are available to provide parents with much-needed additional support – be it housing advice, debt management or tax credits.
The complete communications strategy covered the following areas:
- Complete corporate identity design and implementation – Justask Campaign
- Web design and build – JustaskFIS.co.uk
- Schools Bulletin e-newsletter announcements
- Public event promotions – Launch day, name the bunny competition to gain new data on families competition
- 12 week advertising campaign on telephone boxes and bus stops around Hackney
- FIS signage and leaflets
- FIS tee shirts – Design and Production
- Press coverage in Hackney Gazette, Learn
