We welcome all families and carers of children up to 19 years old who have special needs due to disability or chronic illness.

Come with your children to our FAMILY DROP-IN on Thursday morning 10am ?1pm, during term time. You will find a warm welcome; play area, tea, coffee & conversation with parents and carers. You can also meet our Special Needs Adviser for support and information, hear about special events and use our resource base.

Started by parents living in Hackney. The Network aims to give parents of children with special needs the opportunity to get together and share their knowledge and ensure their children are receiving the best possible provision and are not being discriminated against because of their disability.

Our Network believes that if parents have a forum where they can meet ? with or without their children ? and share their experiences, they will learn from each other. If parents can also get specialist advice on issues such as healthcare, therapy provision, education, out-of-school provision and respite,then this will enable them to improve provision for their own children.
