Message from the Head of Centre
Hillside is a sought after centre based between Stamford Hill and Stoke Newington in a rich culturally mixed community. We provide an enriched stimulating, happy, safe, learning environment that links thoroughly with the community. We work consistently and collaboratively with a range of service providers and the centre is busy throughout the day offering activities and courses to the local community.

Hillside Children’s Centre
We are a 41 place Children?s Centre offering full day care for children aged 6 months to 5 years. Places can be split into part time places or one to two days per week.

All staff have a level 3 child care qualification or above, as defined by the Children?s Development Workforce Council (CDWC).

At Hillside we work in close partnership with parents to ensure each child has a planned programme of activities based on their specific needs as observed by the child?s family, key worker and other members of the team. We also have direct links with a multi-agency team comprising of midwives, health visitors, dieticians, Psychologist, social workers and speech and language therapists, to ensure each child?s holistic needs are planned for.

We are following the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum as defined by the Department for Children Schools and Families (DCSF).

Hillside has a genuine atmosphere of warmth, Child centeredness generated by the caring, knowledgeable, and experienced team of staff, children parents and Community.
