Hackney offers learners between the ages of 14 and 19 a wide range of educational opportunities and has ambitious plans for the future. 16–19 education – what’s available in Hackney and how to choose

  • 16–19 Prospectus
    The 16–19 Education Prospectus details the study choices available to students between the ages of 16 and 19 in Hackney.
  • 16-19 Learner Support Fund
    This grant is available to students in full–time education who require financial help and meet the eligibility criteria.
  • 16–19 Travel Support
    Support with Travel is available for some Young People aged 16–19.
  • 19+ Student Finance
    This section provides information on school loans, disability allowances and other forms of student support
  • Diplomas
    Diplomas are a completely new way of studying which changes the emphasis onto future employability skills.
