Proposed admission arrangements for 2010-11

Academies, Primary and Secondary School proposed admission arrangements for 2010 including the schemes to co-ordinate admissions are now available for your comment.

The consultation is open to various parties including parents living in the local area with a child aged between two and sixteen, and who has been, is, or will be eligible to apply to a school in Hackney, groups with an interest in Hackney (for example, community groups) and governing bodies for all community and voluntary controlled schools in Hackney.

The governing bodies of voluntary-aided schools and academies in Hackney are also required to consult on their proposed admission arrangements.

The consultation period will commence on Monday, 5 January 2009 and last for a period of 8 weeks, ending on Sunday, 1 March 2009.

There will be a public drop-in session on 2 February 2009 from 5-7pm at The Learning Trust, 1 Reading Lane, E8 1GQ.
