| Secondary Schools Brochure 2012 |
About this booklet
This booklet will help you understand the admissions process when your child transfers to a secondary
school in September 2012.
You should read all five
sections carefully, especially section 1,
advice on choosing a school for your child
and applying for a place there and Section 2, how the admissions
process works.
Hackney secondary schools are
very popular, but we only have a limited number
of places available. Although we will make every
effort to offer your child a place at the school of your
preference, we can’t guarantee that they will get a place
there. Please think carefully when listing your preferences.
