Trailblazer 2006

Countdown - an evening of Inspiration and Achievement - hosted by young people, for young people Held at the Hackney Empire, 23 January 2006, 7.00pm - 9.00pm Countdown is the first event in the 2006 Hackney Trailblazer campaign.

The evening was all about recognising the achievements of our outstanding students, and inspiring the Year 11 students who have begun the countdown for examinations in 2006. .

Award Winners
 

Over 60 students from Hackney's secondary schools were honoured with being named Trailblazers for 2006.

The Trailblazer campaign has gathered great support from many prominent members of the community, including Casualty Actor and Playwright Kwame Kwei-Armah.
