The Hackney Schools Trailblazers Campaign was established to celebrate the educational achievements of Hackney’s young people. Students were praised for their achievements in:

    Survival Guides
     

    Guides packed full of hints and tips to help students and their carers in the build up to exams. These guides were handed out to all the year 11 students and their carers on the night.

    Countdown is in its third year and as well as celebrating Hackney’s students is about supporting and motivating the year 11 students as they countdown toward their GCSE exams.

    Hackney Schools Paralympics Championships

    More than 750 children from 24 primary schools, eight secondary schools and four special needs schools will participate in the Schools at the Heart Hackney Schools Paralympics Sports Championships.

    BBC Consults Northwold Pupils

    Northwold Primary School took part in a BBC consultation. Children from Year 2 to Year 5, offered their views on current programmes aimed at children on TV, radio and the website.

    Haggerston get fit with Gladiators

    Haggerston School for Girls will be training with the Gladiators. Around 700 girls will compete in the Fit4schools programme with Predator to raise money for the PE department.
