Countdown 2008

On Monday 21 January, over 400 Hackney students and parents gathered at the Hackney Empire for the first event in the 2008 Hackney Trailblazer campaign, the evening was all about recognising the achievements of our outstanding students, and inspiring the Year 11 students who have begun the countdown for examinations.

Hackney Schools Paralympics Championships

More than 750 children from 24 primary schools, eight secondary schools and four special needs schools will participate in the Schools at the Heart Hackney Schools Paralympics Sports Championships.

BBC Consults Northwold Pupils

Northwold Primary School took part in a BBC consultation. Children from Year 2 to Year 5, offered their views on current programmes aimed at children on TV, radio and the website.

Haggerston get fit with Gladiators

Haggerston School for Girls will be training with the Gladiators. Around 700 girls will compete in the Fit4schools programme with Predator to raise money for the PE department.
