Hackney Adult Learning Festival: 12-17 June 2017

Hackney's contribution to the national Festival of Learning is the Hackney Adult Learning Festival. This year the event takes place from Monday 12 - Saturday 17 June 2017.

It is a fantastic opportunity for residents to come together and take part in free introductory activities in locations all over Hackney, and find out how they can get back into learning, to work towards their life goals, or just to have fun, get involved and have a go at something new.

Workshops this year include healthy cooking, money management, CVs made easy, music, arts and crafts, fitness, ICT, first aid, and much more!

Download your Adult Learning Festival Workshop Guide for more information on the workshops

Please note: Due to high interest in the festival, additional workshops are still being added to the timetable. To discover more free opportunities to get involved and have a go at something new, be sure to keep checking the link above!

Workshop places will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis, by booking with the venue or arriving on time on the day. Space is limited so if you do not arrive on time you risk losing your place to someone else, even if you have booked. You will be asked to complete an enrolment form at the workshop. The information you share with us on this form is very important and must be completed fully. It helps us to ensure that we can continue providing our services to Hackney residents for free.

The festival programme is being co-ordinated by Adult Learning Services at Hackney Learning Trust, in association with community organisations and local heritage centres.
