Family Learning Festival: 23 - 28 October 2017
Start your adventure!
The Family Learning Festival is a fantastic opportunity for families to come together to start their learning adventure by taking part in FREE, fun and informal learning activities in locations across Hackney.
Find out more by downloading our Workshop Guide, then contact the venue to book your places.
Workshops this year include Healthy Cooking for your family, a range of arts and crafts and fitness activities, Spanish Sing-Along, Story Sacks and more!
- Family Learning workshops are designed for parents and children to learn and have fun together. Children must always be accompanied by an adult who is also taking part in the activity. Please check with the venue if you require crèche facilities for your younger children.
- Workshop places will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis, by booking with the venue or arriving on time on the day. Space is limited so if you do not arrive on time you risk losing your place to another family, even if you have booked in advance.
- Parents will be asked to complete an enrolment form at the workshop. You do not need to enrol your children. The information you share with us on this form is very important and must be completed fully. It helps us to ensure that we can continue providing our services to Hackney residents for free.
- Even though we have made every effort to ensure the information included is up to date, it is still possible that workshops will be cancelled or moved at the last minute due to unforeseen circumstances. To avoid disappointment, please contact the workshop venue before you attend.
The festival programme has been co-ordinated by Adult Learning Services at Hackney Learning Trust, in association with Hackney Children's Centres, community organisations and local heritage centres.
