We wish to appoint, a meal times practitioner who is energetic, cheerful, enthusiastic and adaptable. Our lunches are cooked off site and delivered daily. This job entails working for 1.5 hours per day.
- To engage with children, promoting communication by providing a good model of clear, spoken languages
- To promote and develop children’s independence skills; such as children helping with the laying of the lunch tables.
- To develop learning opportunities such as introducing halves and quarters when cutting fruit.
- To provide physical care for children as necessary and assist in the development of children’s self-help (this may include supporting toileting routines, help with eating, applying sun cream, providing minor first aid).
